SEPT 19's AT&T's "No Text On Board Pledge Day"
 

So I asked my guys up here if they would be interested in doing a drive in support of Sept 19's NO TEXT ON BOARD PLEDGE. So far I'm getting positive feedback. I'm even going to see if the DEATH BY VW car club, WICKED STANGS, and the SUBARU car club here on the Island. Hell maybe even the bike club. Anyways I know its kind of short notice but I noticed KANCHI asked if maybe a drive to Ocean shores would be possible. I figured this would an awesome drive to do since its for a good cause. I could get ahold of a AT&T provider and get us the Decals so that everyone can have one. I think it would look great for everyone see us rolling down in support of No texting while driving. Plus I think it would look great for a photo of all the participants along the shore.

Well what do you say guys ? I think either way IslandScions will do something in support of this.

Thoughts ?

I am in. I think this is a good cause and would be down for other dri've. Anyone want to make a weekend of it?

Idea's awesome! I don't think I will be able to make it to a drive, whether weekend or the day of though.

The 19th is a weekday, so the weekend before or after??

This is true...the weekend wouldnt work I dont think, as there is the IMPORTMEET.COM car show on the 22nd. Hmmmm....Any ideas guys ?

you could just push it to the 29th or 30th. if its on a weekend im down for sure. this weekend im camping tho lol

This is true we could push it. Doesnt have to be on the 19th. I'm going to talk with the AT&T store here in Oak Harbor this week and see what its going to take to get our hands on these decals. I think from the commercial that they are magnets which would be super :)

also the v-led show is on the 22

I do know there is the INMOTION car show on the 28th as well so I'm not sure many people would be interested in doing so much this month which I understand. If we could all agree on a date that would work for everyone to do a drive there....or hell you know Woody just so happen to have a nice drive to Forks, Washington and said it was quite enjoyable. I'm sure that would even be a nice drive and the southern folks wouldnt have to drive up here to meet us. If none of you have gone yet to Forks its quite a place. Small town and big ___ beach. Just a thought. Plus the NORTHERN MOST POINT of the nation is located on the Peninsula here as well.
