What I do to gain confidence is tear other peoples cars apart and modify them,note that I usually am drinking while doing so......I feel no issues about my car........LOL.

Cars are very simple.Work with a person who has done the mod you want to do and ask lots of questions,that is how most all of us learned.

I paid my buddies older brother $50 to teach me how to install sparkplugs......yes sparkplugs.He showed me how to gap them,set the timing,adjust the carberator,and it was a valueable lesson learned.
