Kanchi 07-17-2007 02:09 PM

Torched Penny!:P

BensTc 07-17-2007 02:14 PM

Wow - that hurts a little to see. Good luck with the repairs...

How'd that happen?

PizzaBox 07-17-2007 02:21 PM

EEEEEK!

That's probably why I park a million miles away from the curb and go really really slow over bumps ..... even with my unmodified stock box!

good luck with your repairs and new paint.

salteen 07-17-2007 02:23 PM

welcome to the head up butt club...I've done that pulling out of the ATM at the bank before. :lalala:
I got quoted something crazy like $600 to repair it...

mocascion 07-17-2007 02:26 PM

He hit a curb leaving a Shari's at 2 am.

tc4metory 07-17-2007 03:02 PM

ouch.. I just did that the other day with my tC.. Fortunately it just got the wheels (that I had just paid off the day before :tap: ) and not any of the body.

kkawana 07-17-2007 03:21 PM

ouch....

willlangford 07-17-2007 04:01 PM

Thanks everyone... I am going up north to get a quote to get ALL of my paint issues fixed.

If anyone wants to see it in 3D living color let me know..

The story of it is, I was on my way home Sunday night and some friends called and told me to stop by Shari's.. no prob, so I back in at the end of the parking lot like I always do and all is well. Well when I went to leave I forgot and cranked the wheel a little to hard and SMACK.

kkawana 07-17-2007 04:05 PM

i hate that... happens all the time in the caliber... but that car it doesnt matter much... lol

i guess if need be i got my stock side skirts and stuff.. if its easier to paint vs repair the damage

mocascion 07-17-2007 04:28 PM

You know Will...not only did I do that in my BSP box and ruin the skirt...I also managed to take off my underglows with that type of a maneuver (that darn Kirkland Starbucks lot with cement block apacers rather than curbs/sidewalks...totally forgot it was there).

07-17-2007 05:15 PM

ouch buddy sorry to see that and what kind of drifting were you doing at the time?????? just kidding hope to see it fixed soon

Gsnorgathon 07-17-2007 05:37 PM

Owowow. I knew I wasn't going to like looking at this thread. You've got my sympathies, Will.

Maybe I should get the pics Haury's took of my right rear quarter panel after I backed into a concrete pillar in a parking garage. You might feel a lot better about your damage then.

As to color, I'll put in my vote for chromium yellow. But man, if the cracks about the short bus are bad now...

robbiej 07-17-2007 06:32 PM

Will, paint it hugger orange, that would be hot.

flipguy206 07-17-2007 06:51 PM

Will, what are we gonna do with you. Ya crazy a$$ mofo!

Seriously though sorry to hear that. Your poor car deals with so much abuse! I say go with this color from Maziora. No, not the Maziora Torched Penny.

FoxRunner 07-17-2007 09:43 PM

camoflage it...not the green, but actual camoflage :D

Vi3t_DesireZ 07-17-2007 10:21 PM
