no front license
last night at work i got a no front license plate ticket. what're the actions i can take here? i had heard that my job is on private property so technically it shouldn't be valid but i'm not sure. with this being said i don't have holes in my front bumper for a license anyways, should i keep it with me in the car at all times anyways?
also is it just a fix it ticket or a fine that i just pay and be done with it. |
fix it
|
fix it ticket, and its like $25. no biggie. put it on, take it to the sheriff, and go home. done and done.
|
but put it on where? i don't have holes for the plates. and i'd like to stay away from drilling them in. i guess i could just fill it in then put a plug in it..
|
zip tie it....
|
very good idea. thank you
|
Tape it on, take it to get it signed off, pay your 10 bucks.
Then take it back off. I just got nailed for the same thing on Friday. |
it was really lame how it happened. i was in the store and a coworker said that the cops were near my car doin something and next thing i know the guys giving me attitude for asking what he's doing. they only got me for the plate tho nothing about tints.

i dont like front plates
but you always gotta have one going to Airports |
lol
i just stuck mine in the front windshield havent got sh!t form cops yet *knock on wood* lol i even got a staredown from a cop at my school he was staring at me like he was gonna write me up but he didnt do anything im just waiting for the day a cop pulles me over for my exhaust thats gonna be funny XD |
hold on hold on. Milano??? filipino kid that went to corona high? knows lily truong and ema and all that??
Its Andrew, you know the other filipino guy that knows lily anyways man i got pulled over for the same thing one time and its just ten bucks if you get a cop to sign off the ticket buuuuuuuuuuuuut if your car didnt come with pre-drilled holes , then you can tell them that at the police station and they might just tear it up because my bro was caught for the same thing but Infiniti didnt drill holes in the front for his G35 and when he told the cops that, they tore up the ticket |

zip-tie it or buy that custom 808 bracket so it can go on your lower grills and stay there that way you will always have the plate there and no drilled holes.
|
I hate the drilled holes!
....ugh its ugly can they pull you over for a "Fake Plate" with a custom name or so? |
^Yes.
|
geez cali has so many car laws. i would love to live there but i'd be annoyed by fix it tickets.
|
theres alot of laws but you never really run into them that much.
|
yea i ran into one a few months ago in big bear. we were in my brothers slammed ms3 and he pulled us over because he thought his rubber band tires were too small and his car was too low. luckily he let us go w/o a ticket, since we were just passing by.
|
HAHA, whaaaaaat!? I'm runnin' on 25 series....
|
yea i saw pictures of your car. its not your dd though right? ever get hassled by cops when you do drive it
