SC10N Party & The Pursuit 4 pics by JDM! 7-21-13
Fun day at Irwindale Speedway. Thanks to Longo Scion and Longo Lexus for hosting the show! It was cloudy, but it was not as hot.
Met up in Baldwin Park for the caravan. Scikotics met there also.

When we were getting ready to leave to Irwindale Speedway, Taz's car battery died.

After we parked inside Irwindale Speedway, I saw my friend's car.

Subaru > Mitsubishi.

Registration booth to get our meal and raffle ticket.

They left out the "SC10N Party Presented by Longo Scion". Oh well.

The show area.

Cars were waiting for the dragstrip. Yep! That's a Scion iQ right there.

Nice truck wheels.

Now it's Ernie's turn. No way that the iQ could be the Lexus SC, right?

Nope. The Lexus has some car trouble.

Woo hoo! Nice job, Ernie! 54mph.

Just over 12 seconds. Not bad.

Everyone was cheering and congratulating Ernie. It was awesome!

Kris said that the car looks like a bee.

Matt and his Lexus CT200h hybrid, on the dragstrip?

Nice try.

Smokey.

This was not expected. As I was leaving the stands for food, the Nissan GT-R pretended to have a little car trouble after the green light so it can give the Lexus IS one second head start. Next thing you know, the GT-R full trottled and beat the IS, also going 94 mph. I heard that the next run that the GT-R did, it broke the 100 mph mark.

Free sausage from Seoul Sausage Co. for the Scion owners and free In-N-Out burgers for the Lexus owners. Not complaining since it's free.

Full of Scion FR-S.

Manny came late.

Eric came by.

Clazzio booth.

Woah! Eric of Beat-Sonic has a supercharger in his FR-S? Nice!

Seems like people who likes Volk wheels prefer these for their truck/SUV.

This reminds me of Batman's villain, Two-Face.

1 of 4 Lexus LF-A at the event. This one is brought out by Prestigious Society.

This one is brought out by Lexus corp.

Lexus also brought out this Nürburgring Edition LF-A.

Fixed spoiler.

This one is brought out by Toyo Tires.

The GT-R and LF-A. I heard that they just finish a run at the dragstrip. It's pretty much obvious that the GT-R won the race since the LF-A is meant for having good handling.

Raffle time!

Martin can't believe that I don't have to look through my camera to take a shot of him.

Spotted an unicorn.

After the raffle, the guy told us to go to the dragstrip to see the 2 LF-A go against each other. I love the sweet exhaust sound.

It was Brian's turn.

It's going to be close.

Yes, Brian was slower in speed.

But he is faster in time.

Round 2.

Ernie's iQ vs. Brian's xA.

So close!

The iQ vs. Matt's Lexus CT200h. Quietest race of the day. LOL!

Hahaha!!! So awesome!

Doesn't Eric know to not leave his car's windows down unattended?

Thanks to Darren for taking this shot. Looks like I was going to wreak havoc.

Enjoy!
