Visiting Chula Vista,looking for shows,meets etc9/1-12
 

As the the post says will be visiting the Chula Vista area Sept 1st through the 12th. I am from NC and looking for area shows,meets or cruise-ins. They can be VIP,imports,scion only or mini trucks. I would like to meet some of the local crowd as I might be moving later on and I also would like to share some pics with my buddies here in NC.

The San Diego Scion evolution chapter is located in Chula vista. The first saturday of the month they usually meet at scion of chula vista at 7:30pm. here is a link to there forums. SESD has some great people, post up and i'm sure they'll give ya a warm welcome!

Thanks Guys, so whats going on abit north. I am there for 12 days and it is vacation so I can go as far north as I need to. I would really like a VIP show since there are no,well hardly any nice scions or vip style cars here in NC

I'll keep checkin.........I think there is something the weekend of the 8th and 9th.

You got AlphaSQUAD (Temecula Chapter). We normally meet in Temecula at the In-n-Out burger! A little bit of a drive from Chula Vista, but a couple of our members do it.

I'm curious... "Didn't feel welcomed..." by whom? The SESD club or the dealership? When did you come down? What went wrong?

Please PM me and let me know what happened. Hopefully we can help ya out some. Honestly I can't remember the last time any new tC owners came by in a super long time. Those that did recently joined up and have been to several events so far.

I always feel welcome when I go to SESD events.. I've only gone to like 2 or 3.. you just can't be shy, you need to just go and start talking to people.. be interested in what other people have done to their rides, not just yours and you'll have a great time!

Well if you stuck around untill the 16th there is a CHOC Charity show being thrown by Balliztik !! The city its in is Irvine ! about 1 1/2 hours from Chula Vista ?

I have never heard that one before hell we give out free food drinks and raffle prizes
and we invite everyone to everything SE or not We even have past scion owners return just to say whats up, we have young, old and even family's show up .....

Ive even been told by new people that show up that they feel like they are part of the family right away are you shure you were not at the Honda dealer down the street lol


anyway Im not shure about the meet this weekend I will be out of town for the holiday and I know some others are also then next weekend is the cart racing and the big scion corp event and the free concert so another big scion weekend
