well i just got back (well not just but today) from a estimate with an auto body place and they quoted me 800 dollars for paint on my lip kit. seems a little excessive.

if anyone knows anyone midwest that would do it for not as much?

a buddy of mine in the club painted my front and back lip for about $2xx. he did a dam good job too, but he's from waterloo, Illinois.

if you wanna make the trip, I can ask.

 

sure i'd be willing to make the drive if i can get a price around there.

 

are they installing it for that too?

my best suggestion is to take 5 random places out of the phone book, call them and drive around to each of them for estimates. it'l take you a few hours, but might be worth it in the end.

remember, when it comes to paint, quality over cost . .

 

no shorberg thats just the paint. it seems just way to much. i agree i'm willing to pay some money but when the paint is 2x the cost of the lip kit theres something wrong

 

Boy, wouldn't it be great if you knew a guy at a dealership only a couple of hours away that had its own body shop...

I would probably call him first and see if he could get you a deal on something like that...

You should be able to get some spray paint from Wal-Mart for under $10
