We’ve decided to have a little cookout this Sunday. Most of you have been before. Some of you are new. I will supply the meats and buns and I have a mixed supply of beer. If you want something other than beer, or beer that I have, bring it. If you want to bring something else (potato salad, chips, desert, …) that’s cool, too. You can coordinate that with Trina. We will be starting around 2PM.

Instead of sending this out to everyone via PMs I thought I would post it up so I don’t forget anyone. Here is where I get a little harsh – again. Most of you have seen this before. Don’t take it personally.

1.If I don’t know you - don’t come. If you have to ask yourself if you’re invited then you probably aren’t.

2.I have a dog. A big dog. He’s a Doberman and he’s friendly. He WILL probably get in your face and try to sit in your lap. If you don’t like dogs – don’t come. I like my dog a lot more than I like you and if it’s going to be an issue for you to be around him I thought I’d put that out there in advance so there isn’t any bloodshed.

3.No children. Get a babysitter or don’t come. The reason is two parts. One, there is alcohol and I like to get naked when I drink. Two, I hate them. You might think I like your kids but I really don’t. I may pretend to like them when they are around so I don’t hurt your feelings.

4.This is not “Mod Day at Mikey’s”. We won’t be working on cars.

5.Instead of just burgers and brats this time I’m trying a couple of new things. I have a buttload of ribs I’m gonna try smoking and grilling. A couple other things, too. This is the first time I’m trying these so if they don’t turn out right you can sue me.

Nice rules. I'm 'tending to my old apartment stuff at noon, (having the carpets cleaned) but I'll be over as soon as it's done.

 

Sorry I couldn't make it over Mike. I got stuck at the old apartment which took more work than anticipated
