Got in an accident - All fixed now!
Two weeks ago (about) I was in a small accident early in the morning that involved my car, a patch of well-hidden black ice, a long ,sweeping left hand turn and a well constructed street curb. Long story short, I needed a new front lip kit, a front bumper respray, restored wheels (x2) on the passenger side and a couple suspension components for the front passenger side.
I got my car back yesterday (2 days early) and it looks much better than it did. I'll take pics of it after a week when I am permitted to wash the new paint. I know a car is never the same after an accident, but so far it drives pretty darn straight, and looks great.
If you're ever down on your car and feel like trading it up (which I know a lot of you think about)...I suggest driving an automatic Kia for 2 weeks. I guarantee that when you sit back behind the wheel of your scion, you will fall in love all over again. I know I did!

I went through Progressive Insurance and paid a $500 deductible. Total cost of repairs was $3,900. Man does it add up quick.
But progressive was really good about it. Towing was covered, as well as my rental. Just can't wait until I renew in March and get effed in the B
