Hey guys so I want 12k's for my tc but someone told me that cops will definately pull you over for em....any live in Tampa Area with 12k hid's do cops mess with you about em? Thanks!! Kristen

I would say to get 8000k or lower, you will get better light (more lumens) and now issues with Police.

just get them the most they will do is give you a fix it ticket and at that point u pop the halogen bulbs back in drive down show them and pay the reduced price which is like 10 bucks i think

Ok I know this is old but I want 12k hids for my tc2 ... I'm told any hid is illegal if its not from factory & even if its swapped from BMW etc its still illegal ... But I'm also told if you have the right housing for them you might be able to slip by potentially unnoticed ... So our tc2 have halogens & hid kits are offered for us from trdsparks so I live in Philly pa ... Would I be able to stay out of trouble if I install purple lights since we have the correct housing for it & have a receipt from a dealer website to prob its some what from factory ?

Its obviously not factory though and they will give you hell for it. Why do you want purple headlights? You will not be able to see anything in the rain/fog and youre going to ____ a lot of people off.
