Supercharger Installation
Hey guys, I been calling a few dealerships in Orlando about the s/c installation. The quotes are kinda high
Can you guys tell me some quotes that you know from dealerships around orlando?
imo, turbo is not a risk. it simply made more power at the same pressure as the supercharger because of less parasitic loss. i know of several boosted hondas daily driven with no problems.
the only thing you gotta worry about is the "the **** of terror" you turn the boost controller too high = kaboom!
another bad thing about sc = slipping belts, not adjustble boost pressure, etc..
i'd go turbo, get an electronic boost controller and run 4-6psi around town and 7-9psi at the track or race someone. can't do that with a supercharger unless you have the blitz unit

Its looking like im going to stick w/ a natural asprired car this year. Next year might bring something new ...or maybe not. I would love to through 5k and get the turbo and have some Ballz but ....its just not in the cards right now. Warranty wise - the supercharger is adding 65hp and pretty much 50whp. Thats not bad for a part under warranty.
