^+1 on that. Not a fan of that body work. Fredric Aasbo's 2jz swapped one looks much better with the 6666 body kit.

Kinda sucks to see a motor swap already when we don't even really know the potential of the stock motor

It should have had a straight 6 from the factory.

They didn't do it for balance. They did it because the engine is tried and true, no R&D to be done, and makes power easily. Not a hard concept to grasp.

If you want to keep with balance, mod the stock engine, or swap in another boxer engine then. I think the power output with this should make up for any balance concerns lol.

It's so cool tuners are going back to the 2jz again but as some of us know thats a cast iron block so how much weight does that add to the car? Why not use 2UR from the IS-F? They probably are about the same weight being that the 2UR is aluminum and great torque and horsepower stock. I know someone will come in with the 2UR isn't tunable but let's not forget the 2jz wasn't supposed to be either. Someone need to give those V8s a go.

In my opinion the IS-F engine is way to big to fit in this car. I can say this because me and my fiance have 4 cars The FRS,TC,IS-F and her toy new 2011 SRT-8 charger mopar (Fast). I was researching the IS-F engine and I can say for a fact that with out tons of cutting and welding fabricating and even still that engine will not fit in the frs. But it does seem like a nice idea.
