OK guys.. WE finally got us a Scion FRS project car to work on and do some R&D on some parts that will manufacture at www.forjworks.com

One of the things that we be doing is Installing the AIRREX Suspension System and a FIVE AXIS lip kit..

We will also be doing some digital scanning to create some new extriour products.

here is an update on the build we installed the FIRST AirRex kit and first bag kit for the FRS in the USA about a month and half ago ...

AirRex Performance system isn't like other air systems on the market. AirRex has been around for about 5 years in Asia and the past 2 years in the USA. Until this year there wasn't really any marketing of the AirRex systems in the USA. The past 2 years we were making sure that this product was up to par as for a quality and reliability goes and we have had cars on this system for 3 years and not one problem yet as these cars are driven daily and to cross country shows. So we did out homework with testing and actually using the system before we really decided it was for the US market. If we felt this kit wasn't up to par you can trust me I wouldn't be here telling you guys about this system.

Why is AirRex different from other kits?. AirRex is the only race proven air system on the market. WE have been racing on our suspension systems in Asia for year with proven results.

It not your normal OEM type Strut bag system. The AirRex system uses Coil over dampers with bags over them with 12 way adj. dampening. The AirREX air management system is by far the easiest to install. What make this system stand out is it Wireless remote controller. It has your pressure readings, Controls and three pressure based height presets. This really eliminates the process of having to cut holes in your dash to mount gauges and switches. And Airrex has eliminated all the labor work plumbing and wiring and mounting an air management system so all that needed to install this kit is running your power and ground wire and hoses and install the systems case and install your struts and flip the wireless controller on and your done.. Very simple.

This FRS that you see posted we are racing it at SCCA out in Hawaii as our project car. The car stock handles awesome. So we ran the car stock.. Than in two weeks went back with AirRex installed and ran it.. The cars time remained close to the stock times just a second faster. But if you have raced SCCA it's not only about how well a car performs and handles is about the driving also.. The was an BRZ all stock but on slicks and teh driver has been racing for years . his time with the slick was 3 seconds faster than our time. So as you can see what everyone asks how did it perform over all.. it performs how we expected it to.. our times never got worst and we saw a slight improvement. we still have to tweak the suspension and tire pressure to find what right setting works. So as long as we didint see our time go down we cant say the air suspension didnt work on the track..

Many might wonder why spend all this money though.. you can have thebest of both worlds at a flip of a switch.... Slammed for shows and when needed it can also hit the track. with out having to jack up the car to adjust the coil over suspension back up.

The first an only FIVE:AD kit just came in today.

It took about a week to arrive in Hawaii!

We choose this kit becuase of the quaily and the reputation of FIVE AXIS / FIVE:AD

We wanted a kit that was very durable becuase we will be racing this FRS at the track The FIVE:AD kit is made with the same matrial the OEM bumpers are made of Urethane.

WE used there XB kit and we know the fitment and quality was right on the money. and we have put that XB to to some abuse and its still in one peice. If this had been fiberglass we would have broke the kit a few times in the 5 years we had the kit on our XB

We also installed the SRT Exhaust system...

The install was striaght forward and fit verywell. Its is head back exh..

The sound it provides is a deep tone. and really makes the FRS sound what an FRS supposed to sound like.
