nice! though im sure the car wont hit 169mph because of drag lol

running rich? I am sure there is more power to be had here with some tuning (15-20) and with no other mods.

I'm confused. I only see dyno runs... where's the "top speed" runs? In any news, OP bringing in the lolz as usual.

How many of you think it will actually hit that speed on the road IRL?

no way the car hits that top speed to answer your question. look up anything with specs and reviews on it like caranddriver, motortrend etc and it shows that it cuts out at about 143 on all of them. not an expert with dyno runs or anything like that, but i have no idea how they were able to get it to those speeds when it is limited to only 143 without some type of modification.

the frs/brz is draglimited at about 139 at 6100rpm which leaves 1400 more rpm which is enough to hit 168...my tc2 with no mods hit 134 at 5200 rpms leaving me about 1300rpm until fuel cuts up and with mods i did another top speed run and hit 150 which is an extra 16mph and with the frs/brz gear ratios i can see this being true with no mods

You seriously can't be that stupid to believe you will hit 169mph in real world conditions with a stock FRS. If so, you'll feel right at home at ft86club.

i just seen proof of this thing hit 169mph yes on a dyno i agree so with some help of a turbo to make up for the low hp i can see this thing getting up there thank you.

That "proof" that you saw is meaningless and only retards will use this "proof" as arguing points. I've seen modded e46ms hit 200mph on dyno runs. You think they go 200mph on the road?

Well that just show the car is geared long enough.
Like the tC on stock trans and stock rev limiter will hit around 140 mph but the tC have speed limiter where it won't let you go over 127mph.

It's just nice to know if wanted u can go over 127.

It doesn't show anything. It's a rolling road. No drag opposing the car... only facts the video shows is how much it's making at the wheels at that certain dyno, at that certain day, at those certain settings. Any real "tuner" will know what it shows on the tach during a dyno run should be taken as a grain of salt. I'm surprised a racer like OP believes it to be as a top speed run.

I'm not saying that without mods this car will actually hit 170 on the road just saying its nice to see that the top speed of the car isn't so limited just in case u want to boost!
And with the right mods I think its possible to get to at least 155mph-160 in this car. My tC2 hit 148 on the road with just headers/exhaust/intake/pulley/lightweight rims and better tires.

So it can be possible.
