At this point, I'm just excited to see someone finally use the factory motor. Need to see what it can do as well...but with a turbo setup.

So the factory rods and pistons can't handle 400hp? Yet another fail.

Oh and I thought power wasn't everything?

Cess posted this in the F/I thread. On the stock motor they cranked it up to 250whp, which is decent for this size car and weight. That should scoot very nicely. Also, this is a re-design of their S/C setup, as it looks different than the original one posted.

How do you know they're not doing R&D on the pistons and rods as something that will be available later? Putting them in a motor without boost would be kind of pointless no?

If one in particular even breathes too hard, he's gone again. These last 2 weeks of peace weren't a coincidence lol.

Like I said, there is no value being attributed by either of them. How many ways do they have to tell us they don't like the car before it becomes annoying enough to get banned for good. If you don't like.....then leave, it's that simple. No one gives a damn about what the two of these trolls think. It's wasting bandwidth.

Brings me the lolz.

That post is from a Japanese forum. So, it was translated to English and Cessblood posted it. Also not sure if that's the exact trans they are using in the HKS 86. Could be a product being offered by HKS for 86 consumers.

I think it's pretty cool that the 86's parts in Japan will be a direct fit for FR-S. So, even if a US company doesn't make it for the FR-S, you can still get whatever from the 86.

Travis do you think they had to cut the radiator core support or are those slots just naturally there?

Probably had to cut. The "street" version of the kit retains the A/C. The pics above are of the "race" spec and removes the A/C.

The "street" version has a totally different route.
