Default NA FR-S?!?!

Figured this would be a good place to bring it up, but I'm a fan of NA power. Subarus with big cams sound dirty and with the FR-S's boxer motor... Just thinking out loud but we all know the BRZ STI is going to be an all wheel drive boost ****.

So, why not keep the FR-S as the side ways king? Imagine, an FR-S (release series) done by TRD with a bangin naturally aspirated bullet proof example of what engineering and pure mechanical power can do?!?!?!?!?!?!

BUT what about fuel economy and making it for the masses?!?! Shut your mouth.. Scion use to stand for going against the grain and making your car YOUR CAR!! So... My question is, why not?

PS. Dear scion, I went full NA with my tc when everyone went boost... Wanna make a trade? My soul and my tc for an FR-S.. I want to build a monster!!!!!!!

Basically has, anyone heard of someone building an NA FR-S? If not I might have a new goal in life.

Its easier to make more power going the forced induction/nitrous route.

Personally I think a NA FRS is the better and more reliable option. (Plus you don't void your warranty)

Also there is no confirmation that the BRZ STI will have boost, and it probably won't have AWD. the STI version may only have better brakes and suspension.

N/A builds are expensive and have minimal returns on investments for power output. You would have to bore and stroke the engine, custom cam and tune and get that engine up to like...250 BHP for a scant investment say 10 grand minimum. Go for it!

From what I have read the BRZ STI will not be turboed and I highly doubt its going to be awd lmao.

Baseline was 174whp. looking to see if I have a copy of it saved.

here we go. Yes, they are done on different dynos, the dyno dynamics iirc read as 168 whp, but it's been a while, and I can't remember for certain.

That really doesn't represent any sort of accurate gain since they're different dynos.

I know. I don't have a copy of my baseline from the Dyno Dynamics on me. Might be in my car, but iirc, it was 164ish. i'll see if I can find it. otherwise, I may have to go re-dyno at pro-dyno
