Today Scion has announced the release of 2015 FR-S Release Series 1.0 special edition. Those cars will arrive in showrooms this August, carrying a base price of around $30,000. It’s among the cheapest ways to ensure that your new car will be the only one of its kind on the block.

yeah its ridic high, the front lip is prolly half the reason for the cost..

I went in planning to love the FRS. Miata was more fun to drive and drove better. I think the FRS price is too high to begin with.

Doesnt matter. Im talking base level Miata too.

FRS looks nice. Interior is nice.

I just didn't feel as "connected" to the road as I should in a car like that and although it has a good amount of horsepower...it didnt feel that great.

I was PLANNING to buy one, the I drove it and was underwhelmed.

 

Was the 30k pricing official?

 

30K is way high...OTOH a lot of people think I overpaid for my SQ5.. so who knows the market will tell
