cool...If you dont mind me asking...how much out the door?
congrats on the upgrade!!
27 and change. It had the wheel locks bumper protector and the trunk mat done at the port. Didnt ask for it didnt mind it. That would have been the out the door price if I didnt eat 4.5k from a old loan. but the Apr was 2.7% so my payments were cheaper then my tc was.

Congrats  yours was my other color choice

Kind of sad to know you let the RS 5.0 go, but the FR-S should be plentiful of fun to drive being RWD.
how is it? fun?
i'd like to know how different does the steering, and braking feel when compared to your old rs5.0?
Did you put the pedal to the floor yet??
The car is a lot of fun. My old tc I had set up for autocross. -2 degrees of camber in the front. TRD struts and Springs the front strut bar. TRd rear sway set on stiff. I even had the TRD pads for the oem calipers. It still would push like a pig sometimes. Sticky tires ect.
The FRS turns when and where you want it to. Steering feel feels as stiff if not better then the tc. I was worried about that since it had electric steering. I have gotten the back end to come out a few times when trying to make it. I have not red lined it for gunned it really yet. I will. The cockpit feels amazing. I took the standard radio was not paying 900 bucks for bespoke. It feels a little more clunky then the standard radio that the tc came with. I do miss the old girl. I forgot to get pics of the cars together before I left and told her she would be ok with a new owner hehe. her front bumper was smashed though zip ties holding a piece on from autocross ect. Go pro was picking up a ton of wind at these events be prepared to turn down the volume. Here are the last 3 events I had with my tc. Here is more pictures of the FRS. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...36.68191173466 |
Speaking of prices, how did the insurance go? hit in the pocket or not much at all? (you are coming from a TC and I know insurance is nuts on them).
have you found an empty lot to put up cones n start on the auto-x yet? :) lol buddy told me our dealership got theirs in 2 days ago and was gone already yesterday
It was not bad. 6 extra bucks this month 35 bucks extra for 6 months. But I will be getting married and our over all price will drop 400 bucks a year.

the pedal and breaks feel great. I have not gotten into them as I'm still in the break in period.
^^ oh right.. but it's good it has a nice tight pedal feel.. some of the tc's had a mushy pedal, even after they bled the air out! Luckily mine isn't mushy.. but would like a little more feel.. im wondering.. what did they do wrong on this car? so much that is right!! lol

must be awesome going from a ff to an fr layout, can slide the rear easier :)
