HELP! Trying to Replace Side Mirror Turn Signal Light

Hi, I'm trying to replace the bulb in the side mirror turn signal, but am completely stuck. I've gotten the mirror housing off, but can't seem to get off the cover for the turn signal light.
I've watched so many videos and read so many posts, but still can't figure out how to get the thing off!

Any help is greatly appreciated. 2016 iM btw

I don't have an iM but, here is the official Parts List for those parts:

Maybe, this will give you a better idea and you can figure it out.
