DIY: Removal of Side Mirror Turn Signal..
The mirror cover is removed by grabbing an edge and pulling. There are no screws or bolts holding the painted cover onto the mirror housing.
Once the cover is removed you will be able to see the inside of the mirror housing. The mirror glass must be removed to access the screws holding the turn signal lamp.
Push the mirror glass up allowing space for your fingers to pry it from underneath. You can pull hard on this but keep even pressure to avoid breaking the glass.
You can now see the inside of the mirror housing...
Remove the two retaining screws holding the turn signal lamp...
Remove the remaining two retaining screws allowing the turn signal lamp to be removed...
Remove the wire connector from the turn signal lamp...
Remove the three retaining nuts from inside the vehicle...
Disconnect the wire connector for the side mirror...
Remove the mirror housing from the door frame...
The mirror housing removed from the vehicle.
Installation is the reverse of the removal.

That's a big change from the Islands being in WA. My plan is to retire to Maui, my wife and I go there every year and it's much more my way of life than being on the mainland. Too many kooks here. =)
