Angry Horrible Paint Problem

I have a pearl white 2012 Scion iQ. I had
Been noticing problems with the paint bubbling in
The license plate area and along the edge of the roof
As well as few other smaller spots. About 3 weeks ago
I noticed a huge chip in the middle of my roof with
The paint all around the chip clearly raised and
Unattached. Obviously nothing I did could have
Caused this since I don't touch the center of the roof and neither
Does anything else. The worst came yesterday a
Sheet of paint about 4 inches buy 8 inches looks
Like it just peeled off down to the metal on the
Side of the roof just above the passenger door. I called
Toyotas main number for Scion and was told the
Paint warranty is 3 years, 36,000 mile so nothing would
Be done for me. I know this is a defect. Has anyone
Else had this problem?

Default Latest Update

I spoke to a Supervisor at Toyota and didn't really get anything but annoyed with her attitude. She suggested I file a complaint with the NHTSA. Here is the link: www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/
I would also suggest calling Toyota at 1-800-331-4331. If enough people with this problem call them and complain they may be forced to do something. I'm also going to take it to a local body shop to be checked out as well as a local dealership.
File a Vehicle Safety Complaint | Safercar.gov | NHTSA
Note: The review and investigation process MAY take a long time, but don't worry--you will be notified if there is a recall.

yes...after some back and forth with them ended up this solution....I paid for new paint job up front and Toyota reimbursed me. Not ideal, but they did send the reimbursement fairly quickly. But now problem has recently begun happening again, and I'm not sure what to do.
