I've always liked to have a box of tissues in the car and typically have just put a large box on the floor between the seats, since my car doesn't have a central console. When moving the passenger seat back in forth though, the box often got caught and severely crumpled in the process, becoming very unsightly!About two months ago, I ordered some metal tissue box covers for the house and one was a black cube to cover a boutique size tissue box for the kitchen, which matched all the black appliances. After seeing that box a multitude of times, it finally dawned upon me that could be the solution to my problem with the car tissues.
I therefore ordered another black cover (Amazon - search on "mDesign Modern Square Metal Paper Facial Tissue Box Cover Holder...". Once it arrived (in one day), I applied a wide horizontal strip of Industrial Strength Velcro tape to the labeled side of the cover, and then applied a vertical strip to the end of my gearshift console, put a tissue box in the cover, and then stuck it onto the end of the shifter console as shown in the attached photos.
