We will be building a unique concept car for our company, Handyman And Designs. The concept was made in house by our enthusiastic 3d designer. A few notes:
The final build will house an internal power system with solar charging
The rear wheel holder is an empty case that will hold in-expensive gear, like sheets, rope, power cords, etc.
The top rack will be comprised of PVC piping that is reinforced with aluminum rods for structural support.
More info and photos to come once we start the build on our 2012 Scion IQ.
If you work as a Handyman in a major city... parking, parking and parking! This car can fit anywhere. Best spots are near fire hydrants. Also, gas. It costs around $100 per week for our Chevrolet Astro van, and most of the time, once a project is started, you no longer need to drive a van or large vehicle. The Scion costs $20/week max, regardless of how much you drive it Finally, the IQ, although it's an extremely small car, it has great storage space for its size. I can easily fit a tool case assembly and a few additional items if needed.
