According to the book, the best resale value goes to the Toyota Prius, which retained 93 percent of its value going from 2008 to 2005. The others with the best resale value are the Mazda 3, in second place, and on down, the Honda Civic, Scion xB, Toyota RAV4, the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Matrix.

Like it's any surprise... when gas hit $4/gallon last year I remember hearing that there was a wait time of several YEARS to get a Prius. Now they're still in high demand but not as bad as before.

In a way I feel like I missed the boat, however I have been to the local dealer twice now to buy a prius and they just arent interested. At that, I bought another new car, so I have great credit.

Oh well, I cant be happier with my newer xb. An suv without the suv fuel economy.
