Scion.com ... WAY Different

Check out the new site. They have the new tC on there with the xB and xD... and the iQ! They're all in black and honestly don't look too bad as a weird little family.

Like the setup but those pics look like a horrible PS. Mad choppy and rigid...

Great upgrade though. I remember going on their site on April of 05 while sitting at the dealer and selecting all the factory add-ons I wanted. Day & Night.

They all match now design wise.

TheTransporter 09-10-2010 07:01 PM

Looks hella corporate..

yellowxhoodie 09-10-2010 08:02 PM

i like how everything is all black and shadowy so you cant see the horrible body lines.

Nice; just waiting for The Machine website to upload some new vidz

Just noticed that Scion finally decided to ditch the Rally style fog lamps and go w/ the vrd style fogs

I just saw that too... and there's a 19" TRD wheel option (with no price yet).

true granted the pic makes the tc ook like a 4x4 worse than usual as high up as it sits off the ground

Jon 09-10-2010 09:01 PM

Lol they offer paint protection film now.

Domo 09-10-2010 09:11 PM

nice, they added more lines to the rear bumper. Makes the rear look a lot better

Wow, I am appalled that they even put that temporary site up! The graphics are terrible and very choppy animation. To think that a giant corporation gave the go ahead to put up an incomplete website with terrible graphics is beyond me. Fire that person who told the designers to up load it! :P

Kinda glad I didn't get another Scion :|

Domo 09-11-2010 10:20 AM

maybe its your computer because the site looks fine to me, however. The previous Scion web page was total garbage with its super lame sound effects and ugly graphics.

Been waiting for this - IMO looks good.
Who's going to spend ~ $400 for the paint protection?

A-snell 09-12-2010 01:03 AM

very nice.. I love the new look of the site!!!!

Go price it elsewhere actually... that's really not a bad price - depending on what part it covers. I got quoted $400 for just the hood and fenders to do my new car when it comes in. Another $300 just for the bumper.

Despite what their little thing on the website says, done right, it is NOT always an easy install - especially the bumper (hence the crazy price).

Sciond 09-13-2010 04:30 AM

I agree not that bad of a price for the paint protection

If ya'll want a great paint protection plan, check out Xylon. It was developed by Boeing for its jets, and for everything it offers (paint protection, free dent removal, $500 payment towards deductable for major dents, along with many other applications. Also you can use the excess Xylon on your snowboard and ski's and it makes them glide even better.

Sciond 09-14-2010 01:59 AM

do you mean Xzilon?

ToyotaScionTRD 09-14-2010 03:23 AM

Yes, sorry about the spelling.
