Well i just found this and thought hey i would chime in. When i was at the NYC auto show last year watching the press release for the iQ i already knew it was delayed till August. Word i hear is that the 2012 crash test ratings are changing and the iQ would not meet them in the rear bumper so they decided to make the necessary changes now as opposed to having it come out then changing it anyway. This came from very very higher up's at scion corp so i would trust it as fact.

 

so I've heard and had a notion of anyway. just plunk some junk in the trunk and it will pass. maybe it needs a bumper off the current Eclipse....lol

 

I sat in an iQ today, Im 6'6 and fit pretty comfortably. I really want one now. lol

 

came back from Chicago auto show. they really need to do something about the radio. the little tack on pieces for the radio and speedo are..well...tacky.dash bezel literally falls off

 

the one i was in didnt seem tacky, to me anyway. It had a a JDM cluster though hahaa

 

So they haven't changed anything since we looked at it last year in Chicago?

I saw one in Vegas, it was just driving on the street

Anyone who went to Chicago auto show: Did you shut the driver's side door? And, "Yes" did you hear it rattle pretty bad? I felt that the door is much lighter than xAs. I HOPE TMC fixes that rattle problem it sounded like CRAP!

This was taking at the Longo Toyota Car Show in irwindale ,cali last year. I tried to take a pic of the IQ,but had trouble with the camera wanting to go back to the Tc,..
