Besides, for example, how many ford model T's have you seen with TVs in the headrest or a fishtank in the back seat?

I guess You're right. Well, if you find that Superman #1 let me know. I'll still give you cover for it no matter how much it has been "moded".

Yup. This is why I absolutly know at some point I'll look back and think I was nuts for selling mine. I just know they'll be a classic, butit'll be a few years. In the mean time, I have a house to heat. Buy my RS1, it's going to be a classic. CNN says so.

me and my g/f talked about this awhile back too! I told her "you never know my xB could be like the next 57 chevy, classic" A classic car doesnt have to be a sports car. Look at a old 57 Chevy, they really werent sports car but more like a sedan back then and now look how much they are worth. I think an xB that has been modded will still be worth $$$ in the future. Now the thing that sucks after I seen this, it makes me want to really keep my xB now BUT at the same time I want the xB2 really bad too! But I cant afford both

I don't think that the mod factor will play as big a part as how well you have taken care of it.

and people wonder why im sooo **** about takes imaculate care of my car. i found a couple scratches covering maybe 2 inches of the right door just about cried! I imediately whiped out the meguiars scratch-X and tried to get it out. Didnt work much but im gonna get that scratch out if it kills me! I knew it was gonna be a collectors item someday with how rare they are so to speak and all.

By the way modding them is what many people do on the current classics. Althought it wont get the price it woudl get stock but theres bound to be somebody who's gonna love what you did to it and will pay big money for it. Its just selling it at the exact right moment!

Glad to hear I made the right choice...even after I have had mine for a year, I still get excited when I take it out to drive.....I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Exactly my feelings on the matter. Someone mentioned modded out Model Ts - yet just look at how valuable "T-Bucket" hot rods are. You see more of those than you do restored Model Ts. The same with '32 Ford Deuces, etc., etc...

Default xB all for me!

is the xB the new-millennium Yugo?

U teens out there prolly have no idea what I'm speaking of.
Those Yugos from the 1980s are one of the few New cars at that time you could buy for just a few thousand. Nowadays we have these Scions that aren't too durable and cost under 20 grand (would be the same as under 10 grand 20 years ago),,,sounds very similar...

Yeeks I hope not...at least our motors aren't blowing up and warantees voided if you take it on the highway....I am entertained with the notice my little car gets everywhere I go. I can see it being a collectible...you can even put it on a shelf in your garage on display...lol
