Default *NEW PRODUCT FROM SCIONPRO.COM! COMING SOON! *PIC INSIDE!*

There is a new product coming out from Scionpro.com and its called Glass Skinz. Steve came up with the idea and Troy from Five Axis is engineering a prototype. Its a skin that goes over your rear windshield and will be available soon in a variety of different styles. Here is an example of it:

Glass Skinz is a patent pending,
trademarked, product of Dare 2B Different Motorwerks (DBA :D-2 Motorwerks) a subsidiary of Scionpro Inc.(end disclaimer) There are many more designs. It will be offered in a paintable finish to match your car or carbon fiber with a potential of stainless steel or aluminum in a brushed finish. This product will be offered initially for tC ,Corvette and the new Mustang with many other applications to come. The name of this design is the
Head-Hunter. Other designs like Fang, Sabertooth, and a few others are awaiting their copy rights and patents. Engineering is being handled by Troy Sumitomo of Five Axis so quality will be excellent. It most likely
will attach to your rear window via 3m adhesive or supergrip velcro. We thought of a clip system with key as well but it interferes with the overall look and adds great expense. No pricing is set but it will be a very affordable styling piece that literally just takes minutes to install.

Yea, I can understand. I'll chop it up on my car later after work. I'm sure it will look 100x better when we get a real one on the tC. I'll keep this post updated with any new info that comes my way and to answer any questions.

Looks pretty cool....but I would go with something that wouldn't obstruct my view of cars behind me.

im sorry, but i think this would make baby jesus cry, and ricers laugh at us.

all I can think right now is the tC commerical with the shark coming out of the tank and then the car has a fin spoiler.. but now along with the spoiler we can have a huge shark mouth covering the back windsheild.

Interesting... would go well IMO with the modern themed cars, and i'm sure someone will come up with a design to fit VIP style.

I think if executed well it could take off. But hey i'm new.

It wont be hard for cops to find reasons to ticket you for it. They could apply tinting laws to this, but easiest reason would be lack of visibility out of the rear window. I mean your killing the hell out of your visibility with this thing.

actually... at least in Cali, you don't even need to be able to see out your back window.... you just need to have your side mirrors and it'll be legal then.

though backing up will still kinda suck... reccommend getting back-up camera..

i have 5% tint and it's a little hard at night sometimes... i should get a camera too (eventually... sometime... ($$$ ).. esp. on occasions when i have to haul my gigantic supersac (lovesac) around to places and i can't even see out my rear side windows.. much less my rear one...

uh no offense, but that looks really silly. maybe it's just the design, but i don't even know that a better chop would help.
