2009 scion tc automatic headlights
i've read a couple places that have said the tC has the automatic headlights where when you turn the car off they go off not sure if its true but if it is mine dont seem to be working correctly so i was wondering what could cause this
So you're driving along with the lights on.
You park somewhere and turn the car off - the lights remain on at this point.
You open your door - the lights should turn off automatically when you open the driver's door.
Next time you get in and start the car - the lights turn back on.
Repeat.

o alright ill have to look i didn't know you had to open the door ive just noticed when i park and turn the car off the lights were still on so i just manually turned them off i haven't opened the door yet so ill try that and let you guys know
thanks
thanks
Ya, that would do it. It's nice b/c if you stop and turn the car off without opening a door, you can also still close your windows and sunroof for up to 30 seconds I think. But the lights won't turn off until you open your door.

it's either time delay, or door opening for windows..
and for the headlights, it's just the door.
keep note, if you turn on your headlights when your door is already open, the lights won't turn off automatically.
