Default 3M tape: Spoiler?

I purchased 3M Indoor/Outdoor super heavy duty mounting tape to mount the OEM Pedestal spoiler.

Is this the same tape that other ppl used on their tC?
Its red and says that maximum load should be 5 lbs.

If this is the right tape, how should i put it on the spoiler because on the bottom of each leg of the spoiler there is a cushioned foam layer. Should i peel the foam off?

any advice is appreciated.

i hope that includes purchasing the spoiler aswell?

i doubt tape would hold it up being that its a bit heavy and has some air moving under it while driving? I would get it drilled but imo i would get rid of it and get the lip spoiler.

i agree, drill it. or sell it and get a lip spoiler, the subtle look of it is hot imho. my lip spoiler is held on by the 3m tape and is solid for almost 2 years now.

I'd drill it too. I'd always be paranoid if I knew it was just on with the 3M tape, although I do know many people do it.
