i have an 05 tC and wants to get the 08-10 instead and found this. i decided not to get the ebay halos due to the fact that most people say theyre low quality (they crack, burn out, etc). any opinions on this set?

thank you for that info. i did a quick research and found out that the halos are a bit weak. so yea. it seems that the only good option is either to buy 08-10 oem headlights or keep my 05 oem headlights.

They honestly wouldn't be that bad, if they removed the Halo rings, and all the other crap. I kinda wish they made a OEM chrome housing vs the black housings.
Anywhom, like everyone else is saying, 08+ housings are a better buy.

I bought some almost like the link posted at the top from here http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...hts_Black.html They were awesome till little problems started to happen. Like eyebrow LED's start to go out (fix: bought carbon fiber eyebrow covers). But now im fighting condensation inside one of the housings. At first didnt seem to faze it, would come and go normally in morning to afternoon. Now it wont go away and i had to unplug my halos completely because there was some electrical smoke coming from one of the halos that were acting up. Now i got bad ___ lights with no ICE. Trying to come up with a fix...or back to OEM 05 lights

Yes, follow everyone's advice and do not get em. They are a pain in the ****, and if I was on this site when I was looking to buy them I would have not gotten them. Yes, they look great lit up parked but kinda suck at night and dont shine properly. I have considered putting my OEM lights back on but figured i get my money out of em and wait till an angel eye burns out. Dont have the extra cash for 09s projectors ATM. so what the hell why not.

Yes the halos are on with the first click (running lights) and everything works like normal headlights just with the added flare. If they were made better like the OEM lights it would be awesome. But this company Genki Tuning has had some bad Rep and I know why now. Another weird thing is that they don't use the normal OEM bulb instead it had H7 bulbs. This sucked because I ordered HIDs at the same time. Like I said pain in the ares.

Can Anyone Give Info On These Mods ?
whiteracer2006;2006 White TC: complete exhaust,short shift,cold air,black mirrors,spoiler,fog taillights
I've been online researching HID Headlight kits and HID Front Grille fog light kits and also HID Corner Bumper kits and lenses and it seems that if you go with HID Projector Headlights with CCFL halo rings, you get a much brighter and more uniform light. As for the HID conversions, 2 ballasts(one for each light),a switch, and wiring and from what I know I will need this set up for each lighting kit I plan to install ,for HID bulbs I recommend 6000K in the headlight for a brighter, whiter light with a blue tint.Grille Fog Lights HID 3000K bulbs which are yellow. Corner Fog Lights Yellow lens with HID 3000k bulbs. Is this possible to do ? Run HID for headlight, grille fog lights and corner fog lights. I have a 2006 Scion Tc with normal battery, no fog lights whatsoever, and halogen bulbs ? THANKS for replying, it will help greatly !
