Default Duct Tape Fenderliner lol

Hey guys just thought I'd share a recent bit of fail hah

When I ran my IC piping, for some reason I refused to trim the part of the fender liners that go under the bumper and just tucked it over the pipes

well driving back from a car show this past weekend this came back to bite me cuz one slipped and started rubbing the tire:

Im just lucky the screws didnt catch the tire and do damage or rip the fender liner off all together

Anyway I think I'll get a replacement later on but for now I did some patch work with black duct tape...

also did the trimming I should have done in the first place lol

crappy pic of the other side:

I think it actually came out pretty good and it seems fairly sturdy.
I'll see how well it holds up over time but like I said i think I'm going to buy a proper replacement soon anyway

Nice! I did the same thing a few years back, except I incorporated a plastic card in there so i could punch a hole in it put a fastener in it.

All because I took off the bumper and failed to reattach the liner...

Glad to see I'm not the only one that did this.

I think a bunch of people do this. Only a trained eye will catch it! Good call on the cardboard part. I guess it adds integrity to it, eh?

just the parts that hang below the bumper to make them a bit less noticeable

this isnt the best angle or lighting but if you look closely you can just see the portions that hang below
