headlight problem

the other day i was parked and i was going to turn off my headlights and i noticed one of them was off. well i checked all the wireing and everything is right, and everything else is working perfectly, the only thing is the passanger headlight. i unpluged the clips and tested the clip supplying the power and its not supplying any, what could of happened? fuse somewhere (checked them already but could of missed one). i have no clue where to look or what to do.

What kind of bulbs are you running?

captainlaziness 01-22-2007 06:56 AM

Is the bulb burned out?

SquallLHeart 01-22-2007 07:28 AM

fuse 2 is for the right lowbeam
fuse 3 is for the left lowbeam.

Skottyboy7 01-22-2007 08:01 AM

you might want to check the headlight fluid

And if it's empty, you might as well upgrade to 1000K HID fluid.

i say check if the bulb is burned out, and check the fuses.

i checked fuses, replaced them anyway, and the bulb was bad and replaced it. still nothing, there is no power going to it??? this is what they look like

*bump*

for help

ADRdesignCo 01-22-2007 10:41 PM

did you use a multimeter?

SquallLHeart 01-22-2007 10:45 PM

did you read the manual?

pimptc 01-23-2007 03:45 AM

manual did no help, and i got no reading of power at all.....did i short it somehow or what? i should just go to the factory and see if they can fix it....cause its obviously not a fuse or wireing problem....i guess

punkemoskaHXC 01-23-2007 04:14 AM

Hmm...Same thing happened to me.

Scionarra 01-23-2007 04:21 AM

check ur wiring as it probably melted somewhere...most likely it will melt somewhere lose to the headlight bulb itself... some parts cant be seen but if you try and move the wire around and it feels kind crispy then its burnd out... best bet is to bring it to the dealer as u might efff up something else. just put the stock bulbs back in so they can cover it with the warranty... thats wat i did

ADRdesignCo 01-23-2007 05:40 AM

check for voltage with a multimeter. then try to trace the cable for any faults.
