Hi there! I finished rebuilding the engine on my 2010 TC about 2 weeks ago and have been checking the fluids every other day or so, to make sure there's no leaks. Today, I went to check the fluids, all good, tried to close the hood, and suddenly it is refusing to latch shut. I checked the release cable, it's fine. I can get the latch mechanism to work with a screw driver, but the hood doesn't seem to go low enough to press it in all the way? I tried adjusting the latch mechanism up, tried taking out the rubber stoppers, but visually the hood seems to be down all the way when I push on it, but the latch just keeps pushing it back up. Any suggestions? I'm stuck an hour away from home until I can get this hood to stay shut, and I have work in 2 days.
