Installing the carbon rear heat shield on a TC?

Does anyone have any good ideas about installing a carbon rear heat shield on the TC? The I have came with no holes for screews and no screews or install info, however the price was to good to pass up.
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Jay

drill some holes on the bottom where they should be, use 3m double sided tape around the top edes and drill to your car from the bottom secure with 3m at the top....

OR

you could get it rivited it on if you dont mind seeing the rivets etc...

A nice clean way to mount it would be with rivits.

Please don't use Gorilla Glue.

Heavy duty staples on the bottom and 3M tape

mattieg 12-07-2008 03:19 AM

staples?

BZinn1 12-07-2008 05:51 AM

staples seem like a bad idea... :P

mattieg 12-07-2008 05:54 AM

how the hell would you staple it?

mystik 12-07-2008 06:44 AM

rivets ftw lol.
if you want the simplest solution, 3m double side tape and drill small holes

paulky_2000 12-07-2008 02:09 PM

I used 3M emblem adhesive.

If you look on eBay, some of the installs have staples. I'm not saying grab the one off your desk and use it, but more of an industrial type. It wraps under the bumper if I'm not mistaken, so you would do it to the underside of the bumper.
