Recall on sunroof shield
I went to my dealer yesterday to pick up some stuff and talk to my friend who works there and is asst. service manager in the garage..
Toyota had sent a recall notice about the shield that comes up when you fully open your sunroof.
A laminate should be put on it on all 2005 and early 2006 tc's because if debris on the highway hits it, is can shatter right into the car, and i wouldnt wanna imagine sitting in the car with glass flying in it or having to clean that up later, lol.
So, if you already havent done so and want that safety precaution, i think many dealers should have gotten this notice so far..and they can install it for you.
