I wouldn't call it ruining, and I already sprayed my TBL, and it's a dark cherry color, so the regular stock wouldnt match.

Oh it's a different layout of bulbs I believe, so it would look different

Have you relocated your reverse lights or is now red lit?
Other than that, they turned out great.

Red lit, haven't figured out what to do about that yet, probably will just leave it though or maybe mount some under the bumper for my own good

I have blue batmobile overlays on my reverse lights, they've been red lit for like at least five years. I've never had a problem. Looks good. I like the all red look.

I offer a redout overlay as well :).

Yea I am aware of that, but frankly applying vinyl is not my thing, and the paint was only $10 and i'm sure I wouldn't have been able to get the overlay right on the first try, would have ended up costing me more.

;) I can vouch for seeing those red tails in person.. they look MUCH better than the stock 08's +

fongyz 08-30-2011 04:40 PM

looks nice... yeah I was wonderin about the reverse light as well.. lol. I already have a visibility issues with my 05 stock reverse lights at night... with factory tinted windows! LOL.

Where are you guys backing up so much at night? I usually back into my driveway, and a lot of times it's at night, and it's not much of a problem, I just usually push the brakes a bit if I'm having trouble seeing and I have 35% tint on the rear.

Don't know how much you're driving or where, but here in Wisconsin, night time comes around 8:30PM now and I don't just sit at home when I get off work at 5pm... Also, I have 115K on my '05 TC... drive much? :silly: With just stock tint all around, definitely need the whiter light lol.

Ah I guess Wisconsin might not have as many street lights as im used to in the Chicagoland area. And with that said, I only put like 8k miles on my tC, most of my driving around is done in my work car/daily driver 96 audi a6, 220k miles and still kickin'.
