Side Mirror Turn Signal damage..
 

Just noticed my side mirror on my 2005 Scion tC Turn Signal lens is cracked. I'm looking for a permanent fix that will pass inspection.
I know I can tape it with the special tape, but will it be permanent, and pass? I'd replace it, but its about $10 more to replace the whole mirror.

I can't say if it would pass and it will most likely not be permanent. I took a turn signal light off a Scion tC when I was at a pickn 'n" pull for 4$ because I thought mine was scratched but, turned out it was fine. So now I have a spare sitting around.

Thats what i figured. I might have to do that. $4 isn't bad.
