Tinting Taillights *Edit-Install and Finished Product Pics*
 

I'm getting ready to tint my tyc taillights this weekend and I am torn on how I should tint them. I am trying to decide on tinting the whole light or just the red and amber indicators on the top.

I will have a camera and whatever I decide to do I will post pictures after the work is done. I'm also tinting the 3rd brake light and the turning lights on the side mirrors. Thanks for all the help.

I like the second one (tinting the amber and red).

i had joe(guitarguru) do a set of smoked tails for me and they look fantastic! i just am waiting for my wheels and tires to get here to put them on!

Yeah, if I did the red and amber parts it would look similar to bluebat's. I'm actually using VHT NiteShades for mine. Common people vote for your choice cause its not tied and I need help deciding.

I'm doing the top tint similar to Bat's. It's just too damn hard to put on overlays lol.

Does anyone know if it is legal to tint headlights and taillights in Florida?

It really looks good in person, the 3rd brake light in particular looks absolutely sexy and with my lighting mod to it to light up the full distance instead of just the middle 1/3rd, it looks awesome.

Overall, I love it :D

damn so dark lol is it legal ?

Before I started I talked to a state trooper about it and he said that so long as the lights were visible from 500 yards that I was fine.

However, I have no idea how far my lights are visible from, I dont feel like walking a third of a mile to go look at my lights.

I havent had a cop follow me on the road yet and look at them, but I think im okay. :nails:
