Has anyone tried putting a kayak on the yakima roof rack for the scion TC yet? I just inherited a 13ft kayak and was thinking about getting the roof rack, but just found out that the minimum required spread between the crossbars to carry a kayak is 24 inches. I think the setup on the tC is only a 21 inch spread. Pretty close, so i was wondering if anyone has tried it.
