** DRAXAS EXHAUST IS IN!!! ** VIDEO ** PICS **
UPDATE!!!! PICTURES INSTALLED NOW!!!
UPDATE!!! VIDEO!!!
Click here to watch / listen to the Draxas exhaust!
Hello fellow tC power modder's, my Draxas full S-Pipe Back (s-pipe is on back order) came in today. I just got home, and took pictures of how well the exhaust was packaged, and I also took pictures of the exhaust uninstalled. I must say, the shipping was EXTREMELY fast, Draxas is all the way in Cali, and I'm in Maryland (west to east coast), the exhaust was shipped Friday, and I received it Today (Wednesday, 10-5-05). The packing couldn’t be better! The entire package was filled with foam that was fitted to the pipes, cat, hardware, and muffler; not a thing could be shaken up in the package. All of the pipes and other hardware were covered in thick plastic bags, all individually sealed for even more protection.
Once I finally tore away at the box, and removed all the plastic, all I can say is WOW. The exhaust is completely stainless steel polished to a MIRROR finish. The welds are top notch; the flanges are a perfect fit (I couldn’t fit the spipe flange yet cause I haven’t installed it yet).
And for the most important part of the exhaust look wise... the muffler / tip. I thought I liked my TRD exhaust... but the Draxas exhaust looks 50 times better IMO! The tip is bigger and also cut at an angle (see the pictures below and you will know what I mean, by an angle I do NOT mean a JDM slant, the tip comes out straight). How the tip is designed, it is a heat shield in itself, so you shouldn’t have to worry about burning your bumper like I heard the Megan exhaust does. The tip also has the Draxas logo on top of the tip, which I think is a very nice touch.
I will try my hardest to have this installed tomorrow, 10-6-05 (depends on my access to a shop). If I can’t install it tomorrow, I should have it completed over the weekend.
I will update this post as soon as I take picture's of it installed, Sound Clips, Video's, and Q&A for any users that have question.
BTW, all hardware is included to install this exhaust. And there is NO possible way that the hardware can fall out of the box. Everything is sealed very well as you see in the picture's below.
PLEASE EXCUSE MY FINGER PRINTS!!! lol, I will be wiping down all the pipes with alcohol before I start my car to so there are no fingerprints on the exhaust.
Picture of the box freshly opened so you can see how well it was packaged with foam:

Picture showing the angle of the tip (the top of the exhaust sticks out slightly farther than the bottom, very clean look):

Ok guys and gals, the exhaust is finally installed. The install was very easy, it took me about 20 - 30 minutes to uninstall the stock exhaust with the TRD axel back, and install the Draxas exhaust. This exhaust looks great on the car, and sounds amazing. With the exhaust having a high flow cat, you can hear the exhaust when your not on the gas (not ver loud though, but enough to make ya feel good inside).
The exhaust also looks great on the car. I like the 4" angled tip on it.
Videos to come soon (hopefully tomorrow)

If you ordered yours last week I would assume you would be getting it fast. I talked to draxas myself on Friday about my order. The president of Draxas has been traveling around on for business alot latly, so if you dont see your order by the end of this week, give them a call.
Ill find out around 1:00pm EST if I'll be able to use the lift at my guys shop
btw, im a big fan of the angled tip too

the exhaust did not come witha resonator. but the second batch of exhaust draxas is producing will have a straight through resonator. I will be getting this shipped along with my spipe.
It will be extremely hard to get the finger prints (oil) out of the pipes once they are heated. the oil will pretty much get backed into the pipes. so after i am done installing it, i will wipe down the entire exhaust with rubbing alcohol to clean it, then dry with a clean towel. and start the baby up.
UPDATE: the lift I want to use is currently in use. So as of now the scheduled date for me to use the lift is this Sunday, 10-9-05. If this changes I will let you know.
I could install this exhaust with my car on jack stands, but it would make my life 20 times harder, plus I wouldnt be able to take the picture i want to take for you guys. So i figure its worth the wait to use the lift.
