no, 05-06 tc intakes have different MAF sensors than the 07-08 intakes. and don't get cheap intakes off ebay. it is a crapshoot of whether or not they'll work.

there are some members that bought an ebay intake that said for use in 07-08 but they sent the member 1 for 05-06.

NO an 04-06 intake will not work on an 07-08 or vice versa. And these people are just being nice man. A good point of advice is to listen to experience it is hardly ever wrong but whatever you will see that ebay intakes do suck and wish you bought a good one like the guys that know told you to and you will be like damn should've listened. I just say because I was once there. Happy modding!

well, actual brand name cold air intakes made by injen, aem, trd etc. are actually tuned and tested with different lengths and tubing diameters and bends to optimize the performance of the air intake, while the ebay intake follow the philosophy, a cold air intake is just a pipe with a filter at the end and a flange for a MAF. if it fits, it works, they don't actually do any testing or tuning to see if there are any real gains.

also, they are just an ebay seller nobody, no accoutibility, hard to harrass a screenname if they sell you a crappy part.

the answer was said in the second reply. It won't work because the 07-08 use a different maf sensor than the 05-06

No, you can't dremal it because you run the risk of shorting out the maf sensor if some fine shaving comes into contact.

It won't work anyway because it slightly doesn't line up and is more rectangular in shape than the 05-06.

yeah, as stated above skip the ebay specials. I have an 07 and the maf sensor is in a way different spot then the 04-06. I I live down the street from a cat that has one of those "carbon fiber look" intakes of ebay. He had it before I had mine {fujita} and no lie he did out run me. but now with my fujita I walk away from him like its a sunday stroll ..........sssooooo anyway.. now 3 months later his intake has snapped mounting brackets and has a hole worn through it ..... its a POS and now he has to buy a new one. Dont fall into the trap
