06 scion to general questions

I will be buying a 06 scion to in feb. Just did a clutch on her for the existing owner. I didn't find anything that made me think bad about it... I have been working on cars for a long time... anyway.

The car has 207k miles, but it pulls great, and sounds wonderful for a car that has 207k on it.

I need to know if any of you all have that high of mileage and or things I need to look for or check, and even things I should do when I buy it, like spark plugs just a run down please.

I need an idea of things to look for, warning signs etc.

Thanks in adv.

Only thing I can think of right of the top of my head is excessive oil consumption. These cars commonly consume some oil between changes. Mine takes anywhere between 1-1.5 quarts between changes depending on how I drive.

This car responds well to basic maintenance. Nothing major. Replace/Maintain as needed.

Good luck.
