06 Scion tC - clutch shifting issue
Hey guys - so my 06 Scion tC (manual) started acting very weird today. It started getting stuck in neutral and not able to shift into any gear unless I pulled it in pretty hard. At highway speeds (60) I can't shift from neutral to 5th at all and if I try to shift down to 4th it just grinds and won't let me. The shifting down/grinding part happens at speeds 25-50 as well so I just shift into neutral and coast to lights/stops. Shifting into up into gears is sometimes easier at slower speeds - not sure if that matters. This evening, while in second gear going slowly <10 in a parking lot, if I push the clutch in my car makes a weird noise -
sort of like a spinning that is slowing down and it sounds like the car is going to die. The vehicle is a 2006 Scion tC with 110k miles, stock except for headlights and exhaust.

I've looked around and seen master/slave cylinder issues but I don't think that's the problem. I'm guessing it has to do with clutch itself or transmission. I don't have loss of power.
Has anyone experienced this or think they know what's going on?
Thanks!
