Stalls out when I come to a stop.

I have a 2005 tC. It’s a 5 speed. When I put in the clutch to stop. The throttle drops so low sometimes that it stalls out. It doesn’t do it all the time. But I was told by the previous owner that the Throttle Body needed to be cleaned out.
It has been doing it more often. And it drives me crazy. How do I clean the Throttle Body?

And do you think that’s what it truly is?

Hard to tell, many factors could be affecting stalling out. Could be a vacuum leak somewhere, an issue with your ignition or fuel delivery systems, tb and maf could be dirty (really just pull the intake tube off and wipe both sides of the tb to clean it - you can take it off and really clean it with carb cleaner but usually not necessary). I had an old car that would die at stop lights coz the stereo was too big and it was pulling too many amps off the stock charging system. There are a bunch of factors - might want to get it diagnosed at a shop if you're uncomfortable working on it.
