300hp all natural.
is it possible to achieve 300hp in the tc without a turbocharger or a supercharger?
nitrous is an option (do you think it shouldnt be?) i now that to get close ill need headers,s-pipe, full exhaust, cai, pulleys, and a 50 shot of nitrous i dont know of any more upgrades that that :nails: any suggestions on brands, types, nitrous (yes or no), or other products is greatly appreciated    |
get some head work done too

cams, valves, port polish, flywheel. and you'll be breaking 200. lol just boost it or sc it.
|
but doesnt a 50 shot give you like 75hp? and cost 1/10 of the price.

A 50 shot ought to give you 50 hp. It wouldn't make sense to call it a 50 now, would it.
For 300 hp NA, you'll need to spin that engine a lot faster. Everyone's speculated that doing i/h/e/cams/underdrive/p&p/all that good stuff, will net you around 200 whp. Once you're there, assuming you hold that amount of torque the rest of the way, you'll need to spin about 10,000 rpm for 300 whp. |
also bigger injectors. Maybe 440cc from the S/C.
|
and I truly believe u can break the 200whp with ALL this mods, heck I once made some calculations and I though I could maybe reach the 250whp, if not, be VERY close.

watching!

has no one mentioned internals? you'll need to up the compression ratio probably to at least 11:1 with hi comp pistons. most likely need crank modified and reinforced/stronger con rods.
and obviously, though i don't think its been mentioned, you'll probably need a full engine management system (ignition timing, fuel, valve timing) like AEM EMS or similar. with all those mods, plus everything everyone else has said (headwork, nitrous, TB and intake manifold, injectors, full exhaust, etc..) you should hit around 300whp...on a good tune. Oh, and of course you'd have to run 93 octane. :) good luck. :) not only is boosting an easier and more efficient way to increase power....its also A LOT cheaper! :) still, i'd rather have a 300hp NA motor. just because turbo's are so hyped up right now. i like to go against the grain. :) |
In short, it is not possible for the average "tuner" unless you have a bunch of money you're willing to just light on fire.
|
mmmmmm internals AND boost. :)
|
Yea. Theirs a guy here in jersey whos already done it. Search user "Icenine"

you may want to talk to Leslie Durst in the N/A Drag tC. |
Without, major, major internal work, you might as well drop a grenade down one of the cylinders. The end result will be the same. If you want a reliable 300hp NA engine, drop in a hemi!
|
hmmm nitrous is considered as forced induction tho... so that wouldn't be "all natural"
|
Icenine has a SC. so how much can i spray safely on a stock engine.
|
I have heard of 50 shots of Wet Nitrous.
|
Theres something about the word Nitrous that just makes me cringe... oh right, must have been that Fast and the Furious movie that did it.
|
you anti- fast and the furious people are worse than the fast and the furious people..... all you do is complain about it.
face the fact that if it werent for those movies the aftermarket car product industry wouldnt be where it is today ......okay they made movies about cars , can we never speak of what was said in those movies, okay it all isnt real or right or whatever, neither is pokemon so go $%^@! to someone else. |
