AEM Bypass with Injen CAI?
Am thinking in getting the cai by injen model:sp2115p with the hydroshield that covers the filter to prevent water from entering. But i also want to get a bypass to add some extra protection.
Does the aem bypass works with the injen? Any other bypass brand besides aem? What will be the size of the bypass to fit with the injen pipe?

As long as pipe diameter is the same size it will work. You do realize it takes a LOT of water to hydrolock a motor, and the filter position will mean driving through a small lake to eve touch the filter?
short ram causes bad turbulence around 5k rpm, causing a/f to act up. short ram is better response at low rpm. injen is flared piping, wich is why it wont fit. i would never buy any injen product again period.
Just because the injen intake doesn't fit the bypass, doesn't mean they have bad products. They have large tubing for a reason. So you can have better air flow. The bypass is pointless anyways. If water is that high, you shouldn't be driving in it.
larger tubing? the size goes smaller at the maf , this makes it burn rich. they build crap, even thier exhaust raaaattttlllllleeees baaaaaddd, from poor design. i cut mine open in half to see thier $#!ty design.
Obviously, but show some evidence. You've made some claims in this thread that can be taken as questionable.
I love your tuning evidence. Thanks for nothing.
Google Injen Exhaust rattle, yielded 1 thread from SL about rattle. A few other results from other forums, most of which just needed a longer exhaust hanger.
Once again, Injen products are not junk. They have been consistently one of the best intakes across the board for several platforms. I'd love to see factual evidence about your rich/lean hypothesis. (IE wideband results, not here-say)
