AEM FIC, Greddy Ultimate or Greddy Emanage Blue??
Hey guys I'm a friend of this guys account and had a question.
We're looking for the best bang for the buck for his 2005 Scion TC. It already has a TRD supercharger running 7psi +/- (unsure about injectors), header and full exhaust. He's interested in upgrading the pulley from 7psi to 9.5 or 12 (think he's looking more at 12psi), with stock internals... Possible???
At the moment in time, he's looking into purchasing a stage 2 Snow Injection kit to reduce the temps up octane in order to run more boost, although I feel he also needs to control timing (correct me if I'm wrong). From my knowledge the Greddy Blue is a good simplistic unit for tuning but doesn't have a timing controller in addition to it's "from what I've gathered" not great with obd2 cars. It's bigger brother, the Emanage Ultimate does fuel, timing, rpm limiter, launch controller, etc... But the price reflects it's abilities. Well the newest unit I've been reading about is the AEM FIC which I hear is a great unit and does what we need besides advancing timing -still reduces- which might hinder us... maybe...
All these kits are piggybacks, but which one would you choose and why...? He found the Greddy Blue used online for $270 shipped with a p&p harness, I have a Greddy ultimate used which I'll sell him for $310 shipped comes with universal wires (came out of a WRX) or bite the bullet and get the AEM unit $500+ made for his car...
Too many options out there and it would be nice to get some new eyes on this matter. If you feel there's something better under the $600 dollar range please comment!
Thanks,
Ken (And no I didn't hack his account

the aem fic is great and easy to tune. you can find it cheaper in the for sale section. I had the fic the only complain i had was i couldn't raise the rev limiter,i am turbo and the extra rpm wouldn't hurt, nor set 2 step which i like. i ended up buying a emanage ultimate and it nice kinda hard to tune but i cant seem to raise the rev limiter nor set the 2 step so in thery i should of ben well off with just the fic but i will take my car to go get professional tuned by some one that has tuned emanage ultimate before.
in the end i think the fic is best bang for the buck especially if he is supercharged no real need to raise rev limiter but e can get a decent base map and fine tune it from there when he does install smaller pully and trouble shooting the fic is easyer then the emanage cause so many people on this forum use it.
they have fic with pnp harness for sale now less then $400
