Air Fuel Gauge? NEED HELP!

Hello all i installed a Air Fuel gauge in a pillar pod. i Tapped into the 02 sensor on the header tried each wire with no luck in a receiving a reading even after i let the car warm up. :tap: AM I SUPPOSED TO TAP into the O2 on the S/downpipe instead?

Has anyone done a DIY Air Fuel Gauge on a SCION tC? any info pointers or help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks Everyone!

what A/F do you have?

You will need an O2 sender for the gauge that welds into your S- pipe... It will not work with the factory O2's.

gauges like the AEM which i've had before provide a o2 sensor... you just have to weld a bung to u'r S-pipe. All you would need then is a power supply to power up the gauge

if he has a narrowband afr gauge, he can plug that into his stock o2 sensor... but narrowband gauges dont tell you anything, they just flash a bunch of pretty lights :)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! soo either way i connect to the S pipe it is a narrowband sensor and i can agree its nothing but some flashy lights lol ill have to look into the AEM stuff in near future.

AS FOR THE COLOR OF THE WIRE I TAP INTO does anyone know?

I have 2006 Scion tC and the harness i believe has 2 black 1 blue 1 white (on headers)

Any Pointers on what color the wire might be on Spipe for me to connect, for the narrowband sensor?

Thanks!
