Yes, provided that it meets Toyota T-IV specifications.

But I'd prefer to stick with the genuine Toyota T-IV product, at least while under warranty.

besides... i think the stock fluid is better anyway... why are you thinking of changing?

 

yes, im doin a total fluid swap because the fluid is black and stinks like burnt rubber

 

How many miles do you have?

For fluid replacement, use genuine Toyota T-IV. There really isn't any advantage to using something else in that price range, especially while under warranty.

If you want an upgrade, use Amsoil Universal ATF.

 

Stick to the Toyota stuff unless youre swapping in synthetic.

 

39,000 miles....amsoil would be nice..but at 8-9 dollars a quart cost rules that out.
my problem is that companys like amsoil actually say that they meet toyota type t-IV standards. kendall on the other hand just says its good for "some toyotas and lexus..i just want to know for sure if its compatable with our transmissions
